Do not fill your website with unnecessary words and contents. First, choose your keywords according to the product that you sell, the service that you provide and your general content structure, and create your content in this direction. 


Check the content title with Google results.
Search the keyword that you have included in your title as allintitle: “keyword” on Google. Depending on the results of this search, analyze other websites and their contents. 
Follow the keywords that your competitors target. 
You can determine the keywords that your competitors target by using tools like Ahrefs or SemRush and develop different strategies for your own website. 
Follow your keyword-based ranking. 

Make sure that you closely follow the results of your works. You can closely follow this with Ahrefs and SemRush tools. What was and what is your ranking for the keyword that you have determined? If you could not get the improvement that you expect in a reasonable time, it means that you have applied a wrong strategy. You can get professional support for this issue if needed. 

How is your click rate?
As a result of your works, you are ranking high in many keywords. But your number of visitors has not been increased significantly. Then, the first thing that you should do is to choose the right keywords that will provide your website with traffic. For this purpose, you can use Google Search Console. By choosing the Search Analytics from the menu that is located on the left side of the screen, you can see your rankings according to keywords and which keywords are bringing you traffic.
